According to the Resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 312 from 25.07.2012 about the movement of cash and bank metals across the Ukrainian border
- An individual has right to import into the territory of Ukraine and export out of its territory cash in the amount that does not exceed the equivalent of 10,000 Euros without a written declaration for the customs service.
- A resident individual has the right to import into Ukraine and export from Ukraine cash that exceeds the equivalent of 10,000 Euros provided with a written declaration to the customs service in full amount and in the presence of documents confirming the withdrawal of cash from bank accounts (or other financial institutions), exclusively for the amount exceeding the equivalent of 10,000 Euros. The validity of such documents accounts 30 calendar days, starting from the date of withdrawal.
- A non-resident individual has the right to import into Ukraine cash that exceeds the equivalent of 10,000 Euros provided with written declaration to the customs service in full amount.
- A non-resident individual has the right to export out of Ukraine cash that exceeds the equivalent of 10,000 Euros, if the amount of cash exported does not exceed the amount of cash imported in Ukraine and declared in writing in the customs service by the person. Export of cash in this case has to be declared in written to the customs service in full amount.
- A legal entity can import cash into Ukraine or export it out of Ukraine through an authorized representative in an unlimited amount on the condition of written declaration to the appropriate customs service in full amount.
